How do I book an appointment?

Our booking process is entirely online, meaning you can book at any time, from anywhere in the world! All bookings are made on the Book Online section of this website and are offered on a self-serve basis, showing you all available slots for your chosen service(s) on my calendar.

An account is required on our website to book a service or purchase a product. We then verify your account. Once approved, you will be able to book our services.

Can I walk in or call to book an appointment?

As all services are one-on-one, pre-booked sessions, appointments are offered solely through our website. The process is quick and can be done at any time at your convenience and allows us to track everything efficiently!

Why do I have to pay in advance for my chosen service(s)?

I offer one-on-one hair services and have a solid booked schedule as soon as we open it. This leaves me with no room for error and requires me to have confirmed guests to offer each one of them my dedicated attention. The payments in advance help secure my time and, we offer a full refund to anyone who cancels at least 3 days in advance (this is the minimum time required for us to fill the slot). The payment can also be transferred to a later date or other service.

What are your business days and hours?

I work from Mint Beauty Solutions and they operate throughout the week. My own schedule can be found on the 'Book Online' section when you book your service(s), as my schedule varies throughout the week. The booking calendar reflects all free spaces in my working schedule for the current quarter of the year.

How far in advance should I book my services?

We open bookings on a quarterly basis, and each new quarter is open for bookings at least 2 weeks before the end of the current one. Spaces fill up really quickly with regular guests, so we recommend booking as soon as you remember to!

Why can’t I book for later in the year?

The calendar is set to take clients for a maximum of 3 months at a time on a quarterly basis. Since we take payments in advance, this allows us to leave less room for error, changes in schedule, and cancellations.

Why do I need to come in for a separate consultation before a hair color with Hina?

The consultation is where your color journey with me begins. It helps us put our heads together to figure out what’s possible, understand your needs and color preferences, and discuss other crucial factors like prices, times, and maintenance. We reduce room for the unexpected and also figure out if we are the right fit as a client/stylist. The consultation sometimes helps us discover that a certain hair color service is not correct for you may not be achievable without hard work on your end.

What happens during the consultation? Are there any steps I need to take before my visit?

My consultations are in-depth, detailed sessions where you get to voice your hair query and directly present your hair and yourself for assessment. Most of our consultations are booked for hair color, but we do have several guests a month who just want to know what would work best for their hair given their lifestyle, their hair itself, their style, and budget. If the recommended service(s) do not fit your current budget or availability, we are more than happy to recommend other highly praised hair artists in town or guide you towards options at home.

Although you don’t need to do anything to prepare, I do recommend coming in with your hair how you would mostly wear it. Also, if the consultation is for a cut or color, it is always helpful to bring in visual aids like photos or videos of hair that stood out to you.

What are the starting prices of hair color?

Your hair color needs are assessed in a consultation. Without this, we cannot figure out what we need to do to achieve any results (our pricing is based on what the work is rather than length. Length based pricing can be very unfair and should not be the main deciding factor in the cost of any coloring service). If you have a budget, you can let us know during the consultation and we will be happy to guide you on what works best within that.

Do you offer perms, rebonding/straightening, or keratin treatments?

No, but I have written a detailed blog post on this topic here for you to read before having it done elsewhere.

Do you offer hair care treatments as well? I don’t see them on the menu.

I offer treatments to clients already booked in for a service. All treatments I have are potent, hardworking, and industry-leading game changers that I procure from different parts of the world and barely require major adjustments to our schedule.

Do you offer deals, offers, or discounts?

We don't offer deals or discounts at the moment, but we try our best to keep your budget in mind for any color services.

I’m visiting Karachi for a really short period – is there any way I could get a hair color appointment last minute?

As all of our booked time slots are back by advanced payments from other guests, it leaves me with very few last minute openings. If we do receive a cancellation, we use names from the Waitlist – add your name and keep your fingers crossed! If it doesn’t work out, you can pre-book from your city/country of residence before your next visit!

Can I bring my children to the salon?

To prioritise the safety and well-being of all our visitors, we kindly request that guests do not bring children under the age of 12 to the salon. We use a range of chemicals and tools, which may present potential risks for young children. However, Mint Beauty Solutions is child-friendly and will happily accommodate your child as long as they have a caregiver.

What modes of payments are accepted?

Deposits for services are made via bank transfers, and the remaining service amount is paid via cash on the day of your appointment.

Can I smoke at the salon?

The salon space has a no-smoking policy. Mint Beauty Solutions has a balcony that can be used for a quick smoke break during your visit!
